Steven H. Kane
President and Chief Executive Officer
Steven H. Kane, President and Chief Executive Officer of Protalex, has served on the Company’s Board of Directors since December 2002 and brings more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry to the company. His background encompasses sales, marketing and operations, including successfully raising capital through the public markets. Most recently, Mr. Kane was Vice President of North American Sales and Field Operations for Aspect Medical Systems, where he helped guide that company through a successful initial public offering in January 2000. Prior to that, Mr. Kane was Eastern Area Vice President for Pyxis Corporation, where he was instrumental in positioning the company for its initial public offering in 1992. Pyxis later was acquired by Cardinal Health for $1 billion. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kane worked in sales management with Eli Lilly & Company and Becton, Dickinson & Company.
Marc L. Rose, CPA
Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary
Marc L. Rose, CPA, Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary of Protalex, joined the Company in November 2004 and has over 18 years experience in financial management. Prior to joining Protalex, Mr. Rose was Vice President, Chief Financial and Chief Information Officer of the DentalEZ Group, a privately held manufacturer of dental equipment and dental handpieces. Prior, Mr. Rose was Practice Manager for Oracle Consulting Services, a division of Oracle Corporation, responsible for designing and implementing ERP applications. His experience also includes several positions within the controllership organization of Waste Management, Inc. and he was an auditor with the Philadelphia office of Ernst & Young. Mr. Rose is a Certified Public Accountant and received his BA in Accounting/Finance from Drexel University.
